Vegan Ice Cream Made with Almond Milk

Ben & Jerry’s uses almond milk as the base for their non-dairy ice cream.  After experimenting with other choices, they determined that almond milk works best as a “blank canvas” for all of the different add-ins, and also had a creamy and rich texture.

You can eat all of Ben & Jerry’s non-dairy flavors with confidence because the company has formed a partnership with Vegan Action to officially certify that their vegan products don’t contain a trace of animal products, including eggs, dairy, and even honey.  You can look for the official Vegan Action logo on any product that says it’s vegan.
